The prostate

The prostate is a compound tubuloalveolar exocrine gland of the male reproductive system in most mammals. In 2002, female paraurethral glands, or Skene’s glands, were officially renamed the female prostate by the Federative International Committee on Anatomical Terminology. The function of the prostate is to secrete a slightly acidic fluid, milky or white in appearance, that usually constitutes 20–30% of the volume of the semen along with spermatozoa and seminal vesicle fluid.

Предста́тельная железа́ (синоним: проста́та) — экзокринная трубчато-альвеолярная железа мужского организма млекопитающих. Предстательная железа значительно различается у разных видов в анатомическом, физиологическом и химическом отношениях.

У человека предстательная железа — непарный андрогензависимый орган, расположенный ниже мочевого пузыря. Она со всех сторон охватывает начальную часть мочеиспускательного канала. Выводные протоки предстательной железы открываются в мочеиспускательный канал.

Вырабатываемый простатой секрет, выбрасываемый во время эякуляции, содержит иммуноглобулины, ферменты, витамины, лимонную кислоту, ионы цинка и др. Этот секрет также участвует в разжижении эякулята.

Функции простаты контролируют гормоны гипофиза, андрогены, эстрогены, стероидные гормоны.

La prostata o ghiandola prostatica è una ghiandola che fa parte dell’apparato genitale maschile dei mammiferi. La sua funzione principale è quella di produrre ed emettere il liquido seminale, uno dei costituenti dello sperma, che contiene gli elementi necessari a nutrire e veicolare gli spermatozoi. La prostata differisce considerevolmente tra le varie specie di mammiferi, per le caratteristiche anatomiche, chimiche e fisiologiche. La prostata può essere palpata mediante esame rettale, essendo collocata circa 5 cm anteriormente al retto e all’ano.

Clitoris

The clitoris is a female sexual organ. In humans, the visible button-like portion is near the front junction of the labia minora (inner lips), above the opening of the urethra. Unlike the penis, the male variant of the clitoris, it usually does not contain the distal portion or opening of the urethra and is therefore not used for urination. The spotted hyena, which has a particularly well-developed clitoris, is the only species in which the female urinates, mates and gives birth via the clitoris.

Premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is a condition in which a man ejaculates earlier than he or his partner would like him to. Premature ejaculation is also known as rapid ejaculation, rapid climax, premature climax, or early ejaculation. Masters and Johnson defines PE as the condition in which a man ejaculates before his sex partner achieves orgasm, in more than fifty percent of their sexual encounters. The most common definition is that premature ejaculation occurs if the man ejaculates within two minutes of penetration; however, a survey by Alfred Kinsey in the 1940s demonstrated that three quarters of men ejaculate within two minutes of penetration in over half of their sexual encounters.

Ben Wa Balls

Ben Wa balls, also known as Burmese bells, Benoît balls, Orgasm balls, Venus balls or Geisha balls, are small, marble-sized balls, usually hollow and containing a small weight, that roll around and are used for sexual stimulation (by insertion into the vagina). Available in a variety of forms, the balls may be solid, or contain clappers or chimes within. Other, larger versions made of plastic encasing lesser balls are called Duotone balls. They are used by inserting them into the vagina and using muscles to hold them in, stimulating movement and vibration.

The Gräfenberg Spot

The Gräfenberg Spot, often called the G-Spot, is defined as a bean-shape area of the vagina. Some women report that it is an erogenous zone which, when stimulated, can lead to strong sexual arousal, powerful orgasms and female ejaculation. The Gräfenberg Spot is typically described as being located one to three inches (2.5 to 7.6 cm) up the front vaginal wall between the vaginal opening and the urethra and is a sensitive area that may be part of the female prostate.

Gräfenberg ritenne di individuare il punto G nello spazio fra la parete anteriore della vagina e la base della vescica, a una profondità di sei-otto centimetri rispetto all’ingresso del canale vaginale.
